Solution to the password problem

I have started using a social learning platform know as Edmodo. Students and teachers can interact here. I will be giving all passwords here. In future, even the classes would be password protected. To get these passwords, you need to create an account at http://www.edmodo.com

Before you create an account you need group code to connect to me. Group codes would be displayed in VMC. Once you create an account here, you can get all passwords here.

Please don’t share group codes as well as login information with others who are not authorized to view these classes. Actually this content is owned by Vidyamandir and hence I am bound to share with VMC students only.

IITJEE 2010 Paper-1 (Mathematics) discussion class

This is something I desperately wanted to do from last 5 years. I want to thank God and technology who are giving me this opportunity to discuss previous IITJEE papers with my students.

The first class in the series would be conducted on 29th December at 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

I am hoping the class will get over in 2 hours.

I would recommend not to solve this JEE paper before the class because if you do so, you might feel bore in the class. However it is a personal choice. So you decide what is best for you. If you don’t know what is best for you, you can do experiment with all options and decide what is best for you to take advantage of such classes.

P&C class for XII-Pass and Group 4

There was a request from many XII-pass students that I should take P&C classes online instead of teaching in classroom. This is because many students travel from outstation and they want to save their traveling time. So I have decided to do it online.

There will be 3 classes in all. First two classes would be based on theory, concepts and illustrations and last one would be problem solving.

Those who are in XII-class and want to revise P&C, they can also attend these class. For groups 1-3 of JEE-2012 batch, I will take these classes in classroom in the month of January. If you are in G1, G2 and G3-2012 batch and want to attend these classes, I have no issues but you should have time to revise otherwise it is just waste of time.

The class got over on time (2 hrs and 30 mins). But after the class I was taking questions. So in recording you can skip last 1 hour which is just question and answer session. IITJEE 2012 Batch : Problem solving class on Binomial Theorem

Finally the date has been decided to re-conduct problem solving class on Binomial Theorem. This will be second class on problem solving in Binomial topic. The class will be conducted on 8th December, Wednesday at 4:30 PM in the evening.

Last time we faced problems and had to cancel the class. But this time I am very hopeful. I took two online class in last one week for the senior batch and both were successful. So I am confident this class will also go smooth.

ROC on Functions – II

For IITJEE 2011 batch, next ROC will be on 5th Dec (Sunday) at 4:30 PM. We will discuss theory of function-II module along with some illustrations. Duration of the class will be around 2 to 2.30 hrs.

Functions-II is a very small topic. Just some definitions are there to understand. Those who could not attend this class, they can go through the recording later.

Function-II module is rewritten this year. It is just the copy of the class notes of the people who attended my lecture previous year. So you will hardly find any difference in the class and the notes. I am sure many of you even don’t need to attend as they would have understood well from the module.
