MathOnFridays Week 19 : Discussion of problems from Advanced Mock Tests 1 and 2
I will be discussing problems based on Advanced Mock Test – 1 and 2 for IITJEE 2013 students. If you have already registered for MOF, there is no need to register again as this link is same. But if you have recently registered in last 3-4 weeks, you need to do it again. This class is exclusively for VMC students.

MathOnFridays–Week 01-2013 : After the session ends
I took first MathOnFridays session of the year today. The session was based on probability topic which is one of my favorite topics. I don’t know about students but I had great fun teaching today’s session. Out of 13 problems discussed today, I would rate 6 easy and rest average to difficult considering the fact that someone is solving these questions sitting in JEE exam.

MathOnFridays–Week 51 : After the session ends
In week – 51 session, I discussed IITJEE past years problems based on Differential Calculus – 2 (increasing, decreasing, local maximum-minimum, curve sketching etc). It was a good class as there were many things to learn as well some problems were very interesting.
There was a confusion when I was plotting graph of JEE question came in 2012. I got confused how graphs of two functions will touch each other when they are crossing each other at x=1. I tried later after the class and I could plot their graphs again. Please see the image below.

MathOnFridays – Week 51 : Before the session begins
I will be discussing following questions from Differential Calculus-2. These questions are based on Inc/Dec, Max/Min and other topics from Differential Calculus-2. These questions are from past IITJEE papers conducted since 2007.
MathOnFridays–Week 50 : After the session ends
In this session I discussed past JEE questions based on Differential Calculus – 1 (functions, continuity, differentiability, Differentiation of functions). We discussed 15 questions and out of them 10 questions were based on fundamental and are easy to solve sitting in the exam where as remaining 5 are average to difficult and hence challenging to solve during exam.

MathOnFridays – Week 50 : Before session begins
I will be discussing following questions today in MathOnFridays – Week 50. Most of the functions are either from functions topic of DC-1.
MathOnFridays – Week 49 – After the session ends
In this session we discuss past year JEE problems from Differential Calculus-I topic. There were around 10 questions on evaluation of limits in last 6 years. All of them were easy to average. But some of the other questions involve tricks which need to be thought before you can start solving questions. It was a fun class and you will like it you like Calculus.
