1.) Bhaiya, can you please confirm the answer for Ch-2 INE -E ques 8 , answer is coming out to be mpi/2 but in solution booklet, it is given mpi.

2.) Can we represent a point having imaginary coordinates on cartesian plane . Also can we represent a circle with imaginary radius on cartesian plane ?

    3.) Ch-3 INE-C ques 6 , if we see the options, (D) is correct.

    • July 1, 2013 at 1:08 pm

Answer to your second questions is “No”. We cannot plot imaginary coordinates as well as circle on Cartesian plane.

    bhaiya,
    straight lines-
in ine-b,ques4,in solution ,they hv taken a case of external division also.but ques suggests that there is internal division.
in objective worksheet ,how is it possible that sum of distances is 0?but distance is always +ve.
in objective worksheet ques 14(alternate method),they hv taken new ordinate as 2(without being mentioned in the ques)
in objective worksheet ques 36,maybe the triangle is formed by the acute angle b/w the lines.

bhaiya plz explain homogenization of a circle again…what is its purpose…??

    • Sukant
      June 28, 2013 at 11:32 am

Homogenising a curve wrt a line gives equation of pair of lines joining origin to points of intersection of the curve and the line. Was used in a few questions to find angle subtended by chord of contact in the centre of the circle, as we can find angle between the lines from the equation of pair of lines.
