MathOnFridays–Week 51 : After the session ends

In week – 51 session, I discussed IITJEE past years problems based on Differential Calculus – 2 (increasing, decreasing, local maximum-minimum, curve sketching etc). It was a good class as there were many things to learn as well some problems were very interesting.

There was a confusion when I was plotting graph of JEE question came in 2012. I got confused how graphs of two functions will touch each other when they are crossing each other at x=1. I tried later after the class and I could plot their graphs again. Please see the image below.

Please give your feedback if you like the class. Your positive feedbacks really motivates me and fuels my passion.

Bhaiya the class was as ALWAYS, AMAZING! 😀
There were some really good questions from DC2, it was damn fun.
And the way you explained them, just makes it so simple and boosts my confidence and justifies why I love maths! 🙂

Bhaiya, I am in 2013 batch in vsat . You have made calculus a game to play with whenever I get bored after spending long hours at other subjects..thanks..I came through a question which said that “Find the no. of solutions of the equation 1)e^x-x^3=0 2)e^x-x^2=0. the first part’s answer was 2 and to the second part it was 1..By tracing the graphs the answer that was coming by intuition was 1&2 instead of 2&1 respectively of each part..I feel that this question uses the same concept as the one in which you got confused..I will be glad if you would clarify this concept..

Bhaiya, the class was awesome and the questions for DC-2 were more challenging than the previous topics’ questions in MOFs…..
but u made it so simple to understand and i found how useful graphs can be in all levels of questions… !!!

bhaiya really the class was amazing including the probability class that happened today.Actually there are no words to describe your classes. I was not very comfortable in solving calculus questions your revision classes(math on friday) has made me confident in calculus questions. really bhaiya awesome class,by attending your classes i came to know many easier ways that the questions can be handled and most important the uses of graph i really didn’t take that part so seriously now i am making an effort to make this part strong too.
